Sheep Shearing

The Sheep Shearing arena is a hub of excitement and activity all through the show. From sheep shearing competitions to advice and guidance, the area is for everyone involved with sheep farming, keeping and those interested in sheep and wool.

There is a full schedule of competitions and displays over the weekend.

English Shearer of the Year Award 2022

This show is part of the circuit for the various competition categories. The circuit this year runs in the form of a league table (ie no Final). The top ten in each category will receive points and results will be collated by the English Circuit Representative. The top three prize winners in each category will receive an invitation to tour the Lister facotry, and the blade finalists will be invited to tour the Bugon & Ball factory.
